Features

The essentials of project management, done well.

Every work feature is included from the free plan onwards. Nothing shows up until you need it: no mandatory settings, no rule editor. The Organisation plan adds what larger organisations need: single sign-on, audit and security policies.

Organise

Tickets, boards, sprints and milestones.

Complete tickets

Types, priorities, due dates, estimates, sub-tasks, comments, attachments and a history of every change. A similar ticket is flagged as soon as you type the title.

Kanban board

Columns by status, work-in-progress limits, swimlanes by epic, drag and drop with the mouse as well as the keyboard.

Backlog and sprints

Plan, start and close your sprints; on closing, unfinished tickets move to the next sprint or go back to the backlog, as you choose.

“Milestones” view

A timeline that builds itself as soon as a project has milestones or dated epics. Dates can be moved with the mouse or the keyboard, and date conflicts are flagged.

Notes and meeting minutes

Flat pages for each project, with history. A ready-to-fill meeting minutes template, where each action item becomes a ticket in one click.

Automatic behaviours

Six things Jalonio does for you, each switched on with a checkbox: close the ticket when its merge request is merged, send a reminder the day before a due date, carry tickets over to the next sprint…

Track

Know where the project stands, without another meeting.

Reports

Sprint burndown, velocity, cumulative flow, breakdown by status, assignee and priority, overdue tickets: every chart comes with its data table.

Sprint retrospective

The facts of the closed sprint, calculated for you: committed and completed, carry-overs, scope added along the way, reopened or blocked tickets. One click turns it into meeting minutes.

Search

A short query syntax, faceted filters and saved filters, exportable to CSV.

Real time and notifications

The board updates before your eyes; you are notified of what concerns you, in the application or by email.

Command palette

Ctrl + K to open any ticket by its key or run an action.

Connect

Open to your tools.

Import from Jira

From a CSV export or directly through the Jira API, with field mapping, a dry run and a report. The migration guide.

Development connectors

GitLab, GitHub, Gitea and Forgejo: mention the ticket key in a commit, a branch or a merge request, and the link appears on the ticket.

Calendar

Your due dates, milestones and sprints in Thunderbird, Outlook or Apple Calendar, through an iCalendar subscription.

Chat tools

A message in Mattermost, Slack, Rocket.Chat or Microsoft Teams when a ticket moves forward.

API and webhooks

A REST API described in OpenAPI, with personal access tokens, and signed webhooks to notify your other tools.

Full export

Your projects, tickets, comments, notes, history and files, in an open format, at any time.

Low-key AI help

AI suggests, you decide.

No intrusive assistant: a small suggestion where it helps, which you accept, edit or ignore. Nothing is created or changed without your click.

Plain-language search

“Camille’s urgent tickets” becomes a filter you can see and edit before the search runs.

Breaking down an epic

A list of suggested sub-tasks, to tick and correct before they are created.

Discussion summary

A short summary of long comment threads, not saved.

Retrospective preparation

What went well, what could be improved, and actions to discuss.

Mistral Small 4 model by Mistral AI (France), processed in the European Union, data not used for training. Included in paid plans, can be turned off by the administrator. Similar-ticket detection works without AI in every plan.

Organisation plan

For organisations with higher requirements.

  • Single sign-on: Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace, ProConnect (the French State’s sign-in service), OpenID Connect, LDAP directory.
  • Audit log that can be browsed, exported and verified.
  • Security policies: mandatory two-factor authentication, hardened sessions.
  • Adjustable retention periods.
  • Payment by bank transfer on invoice, including through Chorus Pro (the French public invoicing portal).
  • Priority support, with a reply within one business day.

No time tracking, no rule editor: Jalonio sticks to the essentials.
